Introduction/Description

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the USO in Idaho. While we do not have a USO Center in Idaho, we do programming often at Mountain Home Air Force Base and at Idaho Army and Air National Guard facilities throughout the state. We also provide snacks and drinks at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Boise, ID as well. Felony and Background Check Authorization

In order to be considered for a volunteer position, all applicants must agree to submit to a security background check as required by many of the installations and airports where the USO centers are located.

The following crimes will disqualify an applicant from volunteering with the USO:

Crimes involving physical violence against individuals.
Sexual offenses
Crimes against children
Sex offender registry status
Theft-related crimes
Convictions concerning controlled substances within the last 5 years.
Any felony convictions within the past 10 years
